These scripts were written for a Neverwinter Night's module I created called, "The Trade Way". It's a module for starter characters that will end up around level 3 when it's completed. The module sends the player on a quest to rescue someone who is kidnapped when their caravan is hijacked by bandits. In following the bandits the player discovers that the kidnapping is part of a larger plan.

Neverwinter Night's Mod "The Trade Way" Opening Scene

This script occurs at the beginning of the module and introduces the player to the main quest. The script is divided into the following parts:

1. Take control from the player to place the character in the correct spot for the introduction to begin.
2. Move the player across the bridge and to the edge of the wrecked caravan to view the scene.
3. Start coach driver being a hero and bandit mage to kill him in the process.
4. Begin the conversation between the bandit leader and Mize.
5. Have one of the bandits recognize the PC as being present by dialog and animation.
6. Turn bandit leader toward the player having him engage in conversation and animation with the PC.
7. Start the teleportation of the bandits as the bandit leader calls for it and continue his animations and conversation.
8. Teleport the last bandit with the kidnapped daughter and the bandit leader as he is laughing at the PC.
9. Move Mize (the father) toward the PC and initiate a conversation which updates the PC's quest log and begins the main story.
10. Give control of the character back to the player.

Neverwinter Night's Mod "The Trade Way" Brazier Puzzle

This script controls a puzzle in which the player is given a number of objects and an unfinished book. Through the book the player must figure out which objects to place in a brazier in order to achieve the best result, which is a Baelnorn spawning and rewarding the player with an item for "dumb luck and gall". Other combinations result in monsters spawning and attacking the player.
